Leather & Lace: Drag Show Featuring Bianca Del Rio of "RuPaul's Drag Race" at Badlands

Sunday was Kyle's 29th birthday so we celebrated by heading out to dinner and Badlands (a gay club in downtown Sacramento) for a drag show featuring the winner of season six of "RuPaul's Drag Race," Bianca Del Rio.

We met up with Kasi and walked down the street from Badlands to a sushi place to grab some quick eats.

What I had for dinner. The sauce was sorta BBQ-ey and smokey. Yum! I can never have enough sushi!

First drink of the night - a White Russian. I love me some Kahlua!

The drag show started at 9:30 and Badlands was packed. A series of drag queens lip synched before the main event. There were far too many to remember all of their names, but my favorite act was probably the queen dressed as Maleficent.

Wendy Ho was the only performer who was actually born a female. She wore a purple wig and sang some raunchy songs that I won't repeat here. Instead, if you're brave, feel free to watch the video below. Warning - it contains graphic language.

More Wendy Ho. I think she was the funniest entertainer of the night.

Bianca Del Rio was the only queen who didn't do a lip synch act. Instead, she did a comedy schtick a la Joan Rivers where she invited people on stage for a lip synching contest and proceeded to make fun of them. Very entertaining. Check out the video below for her intro clip.
